About Me

I believe in maintaining a positive mindset, creating trusting relationships and making life easier, safer and more pleasant for those I support. 

There is no need for anyone to feel disconnected, for example;

  • Unable to use online banking or search for new accounts

  • Unable to apply for/renew a bus pass

  • Unable to quickly renew a passport online

  • Afraid to use social media

  • Not knowing how get online in a way that feels safe

  • Unsure how to video call with distant family members

  • Not able to afford/use their own technology to get online

I have worked in regulated Finance for over 30years (in London & East Anglia), responsible for Data Protection, I.T. Security, Client Training, Customer Support, Online Development and Management.  This has given me extensive knowledge and experience dealing with technology, security, customer care and problem solving.  

Most recently I am supporting clients to live in their own homes and access online services safely. This can range from using a smartphone for the first time, helping creating email addresses, setting up new computer hardware, security settings, using comparison sites, to supporting a registered charity to accessing emails after passwords were lost.

 

I am calm, polite and committed to excellence in everything I do.
 

I have set up new Broadband routers, home P.C.s, added new hardware and software, solved problems, connected indoor security cameras and taught clients how to use them, both in their own homes and when hospitalised. Some even when I wasn't physically there - I am only a phone call or webchat away.

​No matter the task, I will find a way to give knowledge, confidence and support.
